What do I need to read for Module Five?

You will choose one of the following novels or short stories to read independently for Module Five. If you are
completing the Advanced lessons, you will have an additional reading requirement, which will be explained in
Advanced Lesson 1.01.
I choose to read a novel. How do I get a copy?
If you choose to read a novel, it is your responsibility to obtain the novel at the library, the bookstore, an
e-reader, or from your personal library.
I choose to read a short story. How do I get a copy?
If you choose to read a short story, it is provided for you in a link.
How many pages should I read before every lesson?
At the bottom of this document, you will find a pacing guide. You will read the noted pages before you start each
lesson in Module Five. For your convenience, this information is given in a reminder link at the end of each lesson.

Selection 1 Novel
