How Far Does The Kangaroo Hop?

A kangaroo is hopping its way through the Australian back-country. Suddenly,

a wild man disguised in the skin of a dead emu jumps out and attempts to
catch the kangaroo1 . The kangaroo is quick to bound away, and as it does so,
it follows the vector-valued path:


r(t) = 1, 4 sin t, t2 cos 2t
The kangaroo follows this path for 15 seconds (i.e., t = 0 to t = 15). How far
has the kangaroo travelled? (Lets assume the man gives up after chasing it, so
he is no longer a concern).
