College and Career Readiness Content

Lesson 1: Exploring your Career Interests


o Discussed how personality, interests, and skills leads to a
career.
o Students completed the Myers Briggs Typology Indicator
career interest assessment along with a career interest
worksheet

Lesson 2: Exploring Majors and Colleges


o Students learned the difference between a major and a career
o Students identified 2 majors that relate to their career interests
by using a career tool, https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/
o Students identified 3 colleges that offer the major they are
interested in by using https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/
