Machinery and equipment are grounded

Electrical panels have clear access

Electrical panels clearly marked

Outlets, switches and boxes have covers

Permanent wiring in place no extension cords

Exposure of overhead electrical lines controlled

Emergency stops and critical electrical controls are identified

Appropriate electrical systems designed for hazardous

locations have been installed in spray booths and
flammable liquid storage rooms

Every switchboard at UI was

grounded to prevent high voltage. In
addition, to prevent the occurrence
of electric arcs, always
ensure that components of circuits
are properly connected
before energizing the circuits and
never close a switch or circuit
breaker slowly.
Electrical panels have been put in
open area
To give an informations for student
whether theres a hazard system or
not
Switchboard at Gatrik room has
been covered by safety material
which not conduct electricity

Control system always actived and

put in the near place
There are a full stop system for
switch the panel down, to make sure
the safety of student if theres an
error occurs
Hazardous location havent been
installed on system, but it is printed
on paper.

Electrical Hazards:
Ensure electricity switchboards are of robust design and build, and are mounted securely. Where
electricity meter and fuse assembly is fitted, make sure switchboard has an endorsed service fuse
locking device. Construction switchboards should have:
1. an extension lead tie-bar to prevent strain on the plug top and socket outlet connection
2. insulated cable stands for the support of cables and extension leads off the ground
3. a lockable door that cannot damage power leads when closed
4. a way of keeping the door open for electrical installation work
5. weatherproofing if located outdoors or anywhere subject to water exposure
6. a clear area of 1 m at the front of the board
7. a lockable cover over circuit breakers and RCDs (safety switches)
8. clear access to main switch/isolating switch at all times when in use
