As assistant principal of Creekside Middle School, I have worked with Brooke Cole in many capacities.
Because of these experiences, I am able to write this letter of recommendation for her with no
reservations and the utmost confidence in her abilities to serve as an assistant principal.
Brooke has proven herself to be a valuable building leader in many ways. As a teacher, her lessons
are engaging while also being challenging, and she has earned the respect of her students and
colleagues alike. In addition to her classroom duties, Brooke has served as a department chair,
overseeing wellness and world language, for the last two years. In this role she has moved both her
departments so much in regards to integrating best practices in the classroom, working as teams of
teachers, and writing curricula that will engage all learners. In this role she has also served on several
district level committees as well. Brooke was a part of the CCS Evaluation Committee, which worked
to revamp the evaluation process for all teachers, and she has helped to lead the curriculum writing
and textbook adoption committees for world language. All of this is in addition to her work with
department chairs from the other middle schools in the district, where she has distinguished herself
as a leader among her colleagues in sharing what good instruction looks like in the wellness area.
Brooke is always willing and able to help out in any way necessary, and people look to her as a leader
in our school. She is a valued member of the Creekside family.
Brooke would be a great addition to any staff, and I hope you consider her for the position of assistant
principal. While I would be sad to see her leave Creekside, I know she will be a positive, effective
leader to any school fortunate enough to hire her. If I can be of any further assistance, please do not
