There are many different aspects to why democracys that

are successful are prevented in Latin American nations. There are
a grand amount of problems such as inequality, poverty,
violations of human rights, social repression, and misuses of
resources. Also the social order is off balance as well. The Latin
American democracy is strictly over powered by the rich while the
less fortunate are striving for what meets due, this means that
the different social classes in Latin America all have a positive,
negative, or even no effect on the performance of democracy.
Other problems that occur are the economic problem of drug
trafficking has weakened democracy in Latin America. It
influences the democracy very negatively. It has affected the
regions militaries, police forces, and judicial and legal systems.
