Dear Mr Guild Leader Sir

This is my application to become the manager of the guild bank; this document
will include my policies towards:
Taxation
Guild activity taxation
Loans
Item storage in the guild bank
Grants
General

General:
The policies are subject to change. The economy of Tera is player driven and
drop rate driven.
For example if drop rates are updated to become less, loan paybacks will be
harder and payback time must be increased in order to allow players to gather
the money for the re-payment.
Only the guild bank manager has the permissions to remove items or gold from
the bank. Possible guild leader exceptions.

Taxation:
As none of our group know much about the average income of a high level player
who is active this section must be taken with a grain of salt.
Those who actively take part in guild activities will have to pay a percent of their
income to the guild bank in order to fund guild activities and buy players
weapons that they need to keep up with the rest of the guild. Inactive members
will be expected to pay a higher percentile as they are not contributing as much.
There is not much that we can do to police these policies but these taxes should
be handed in at the end of each month to the guild bank. There is a log of inputs
and outputs of the guild bank that I will need access to. I believe every player
can see this log as long as they are in the guild. Players will be trusted to pay
tax. Any odd amounts of payment will be checked against the players activity
during the month. If the player has low activity during that month but high
activity in other months their payment will be accepted. If the player has high
activity during the month and high average activity low payments will not be
accepted and the bank manager will have a talk with the person. Players will low
average activity will be expected to pay as much as the lowest paying active
guild member in that month.
Primary Tanks and healers will be expected to pay the same percentile unless it
is shown clearly that they are earning less due to their position and requirement
of having teammates near them to be effective.

Guild Activity Taxation:

All gold drops will be automatically sent to the guild bank manager. The manager
deducts 20% of the gold and then divides the remainder equally between those
who partook in the guild activity. Players who do not contribute often to guild

activities will receive less pay than guild members who contribute actively. (This
does not include players who are level capped out of the guild activates as that
is not their fault).
For example Jon contributes actively to the guild activities as often as he can.
Harry doesnt. James has just gotten the level requirement to go on the raid. Jon,
James and Harry all go on the same raid. Both Jon and James receive equal pay
as their contribution is expected to be the same. Harry is paid slightly less as his
contribution to previous activities was much lower. This lower pay will consist
until Harry participates in two guild activities in a row without missing one in
between.

Loans:
Again due to economy loan payback times are subject to change after updates of
the game that include drop rate changes or income differences.
Small loans: These loans will be given to any member who is active for more
than one day per week and contributes towards the guild activities in every way
they can, this includes buying gear for other players but not actually
participating in the activity. This means lower level players who cannot
participate actively in raids and team battles can still get loans by showing an
active contribution by providing raiders with health potion and resurrection scroll
or other such supplies. Low level players who are below 20 will not be allowed
loans at all but can instead apply for grants. These small loans should be paid
back within a week or a warning will be given by the guild manager. If the player
does not pay the loan back within 3 days after receiving the warning the player
will be sent to talk to the social manager or guild leader about possible raid or
guild bans that could occur if the player doesnt pay the loan back. If the player
never pays the loan back without a valid reason the player will undergo an
assessment by the guild bank manager about their income and how much they
can afford to pay and new paybacks can be discussed.
Players with 2 warning will receive a loan ban for 1 month.
Players with 3 warning will receive a guild bank ban. They cannot apply for any
aspect of the guild bank.
Players with 5 warning will be kicked from the guild if no valid reason is stated.
These kicked members will be actively hunted by the guild until they pay their
loans back.
Warnings can be ignored if the player pays back double what they owe. This rule
only applies for players who are about to be kicked from the guild with their next
warning.
Large loans: These loans will be given to members who are active for 3 times a
week or more and provide actively towards guild activities. Players under level
30 will not receive these loans. Before receiving a large loan the players income
and activities will be assessed by the guild bank manager. If it is seen that the
player does not contribute or have a high enough income to meet the payback
deadline the player will not be given a loan. This should reduce the chance of
players being unable to pay back their money.

The same warning system applies but with changes to the warning
consequences.
1 Warning = Loan ban for a 3 month period.
2 Warning = Guild bank ban.
3 Warning = Perma bank ban.
4 Warnings = Kicked from guild. Hunted for payment.
Payback rule does not apply. Guild members are stressed to not break the guild
loan rules or serious consequences apply.
Only one loan can be taken out at a time.
Item storage: Players are expected to use their own banks to store crafting
materials and items that they need and use. The guild bank will immediately
remove any crafting items unless an item transfer is stated.
Item transfer: Players are expected to trade their resources if both players are
online. If not possible as one of the players is offline, items can be stored in the
guild bank. The items must be declared to guild bank manager so he knows not
to remove the item from the bank. Next time the player who is receiving is online
they can pick up the item from the guild bank with the guild manager. This is an
annoying and long process so players are stressed to trade the item rather than
do this.
Grants: Unlike loans grants do not need to be paid back to the bank. These
grants are for players who require items or gold to catch up with the rest of the
guild. Their economic status will be assessed before the loan is given.
Excel Spreadsheets I will use to manage the bank with examples:
