Slub yarns: Types & Definition

In the textile industry there are various definition for the different
slub yarn types. In order to avoid any misunderstandings and mixups,
the definition of the different slub yarn types are given in the table.

Above figure shows the all possible types of slub yarns with
variation in base yarn count, slub length and slub thickness.
1.) Slub length and thickness of each slub are the same.
2.) Different slub length but same thickness of slub.
3.) Slub thickness and slub length are different.
4.) Variation in slub length and thickness with multislub.
5.) Variation in base yarn count and slub portion.
