5th Grade Current Events!

We live in a world where news is everywhere but is passed over. Social

Studies are about studying the world and history, and you will look up a
news event in the world to share when we get back. This assignment is
worth 20 points
You only need to do one event this summer.
It is due by the first day of school.
The assignment will be sent to Google Classroom.
I will send the code in July to access classroom
These events cannot be about celebrities, shows, sports or
entertainment!
Topics can include: America and the world, Military, Government, Charity,
and Health., Technology, etc.
This assignment has four parts: Must be done one word document
Name of the article and where it was taken from (1 point)
image related to the article (3 points)
1 paragraph summary of the event (3- 4 sentences) (10 points)
a two sentence response on why you chose this article. (6 points)
