EXPERIENCE
Autism Treatment Center of America Son-Rise Program Volunteer
Snyder, Hilliard & Bishop, L.L.O.
Worked closely with a 7-year-old autistic boy by using the Son-Rise Programs guidelines, managed
other volunteers, made decisions with parents about how to move forward with the childs
recovery from autism, spearheaded the implementation of The Little Giant Steps neurological
development program within the household and maintained household functionality. This has
cultivated my ability to tactfully communicate and interact in a way that causes another to buy-in
to an idea or task.

VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES
Battle Crete Hunger
Founder
I founded this program in partnership with Doane Colleges food provider. It allows students to
donate money from un-used cafeteria meals, which is then used to purchase nonperishable foods
and household supplies at a discounted price through the food provider. All goods are delivered to
Blue Valley Community Action, a local non-profit. The goal is to reduce hunger in Crete, NE, a town
that has a high poverty rate. Crystal Alarcon who works in Family and Community Services at Blue
Valley said food pantries would be shorted out without the help of this program. If your donations
dont come in, were not going to have anything to give them (families), she said. Their basic needs
wont be met. More than 120 families rely on donations from Battle Crete Hunger.
