Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) has spread widely throughout the district of
Sidoarjo with morbidity and mortality is relatively high. Dengue morbidity rate in 2011
declined significantly as many as 125 cases compared with the previous two years 704 cases
in 2010 and 526 cases in 2009. In the village Kedungsolo Porong Sidoarjo regency was not
obtained incidence of dengue during the last two years. This study aims to determine the
relationship of several factors in the absence of incidence of dengue in the village
Kedungsolo Porong Sidoarjo Regency in June 2015, both internal factors and external
factors.
This study is an observational cross-sectional analytic study. The study population
consisted of 1552 the head of the family with a large sample of 94 people. The data were
obtained by direct interview to the respondent with reference to the questionnaire conducted
to 94 family heads. Data were analyzed using Chi Square Test.
Results of this research is that there is a relationship between the sexes (p = 0.01) with no
incidence of dengue. And there is no relationship between education (p = 0.89), knowledge (p
= 0.100), frequency extension mosquito nest eradication (PSN) (p = 0.826), and the
frequency of the tub drain (p = 0.46) in the absence incidence of dengue.
The conclusion of this study is gender have a relationship with no incidence of
dengue in the village Kedungsolo Porong Sidoarjo Regency in June 2015.
