Is School Important in the 21st century?
School is important for students because students still need teachers to teach them face to
face and students that learn in school will have more experience. The purpose of this research report
is to analyze why school is important. The importance of this report is reader will understand more
about school is the best places to improve students. The information found in this report found in
this research report are based on four sources. First, John Holt in his article called School is bad
for children explained about why students should not learn in school. Second, An article called
Why is school important reviewed about the reason why students should go to school. Third, An
article called 13 things I want you to know about homeschooling described about thing that children should know from homeschooling. Fourth, Freeman in his article called Homeschooling is a
bad idea explained why school is better that homeschooling.
School in the Past , Now and Future
School is the common place that everybody has to go. According to www.banjomyut.com
described about in the past, there were not a lot of school and we still have social classes. Normal
and poor people were not able to go to school especially for woman. Most of woman has to work at
home as a housewife or a farmer. The reason that a lot of woman did not go to school is social popularity. In Thailand they believe that man is the person who has to take care of their family so,
They had to study for finding a good job. For the rich woman they have had a chance to study in
school. Nowadays, school has changed a lot of from the past, we having different type of school
such as public school and private school. Public school is school that government support and the
tuition is cheaper than private school. The quality of students in public school is more than private

school. One of the reasons is public school rules is more strict but it's also flexible. Public school
teaches students by letting student so activity more than learning in the book. In Thailand the public
school is better than private school. Mahidol university international demonstration school is the
sample of the public school in Thailand and the school lets students doing lab in science class than
learning in the book but students need to do lab test before get into the lab. Also right now we have
the technology to use such as we do not have to use the book anymore, we just use the laptop to replace it. School in the future will have more organization. The computer will control everything in
school so that make everything more accurate.
Students Still Need Teachers

The 21st century is period between 2001 and 2100. The 21st century is the century that has

high technology such as phone, laptop and computer. In the 21st century there are many ways of
learning such as learning in school or homeschooling, but the best way of learning is school. The
reason why school is the best place to learn is because students still need teachers to teach them
face to face so they will not lose focus while the land. As was poet say result, almost 90% 10 grades
of Muids (Mahidol university international demonstration school) students think that teacher are
still important. The teacher is the person who gives knowledge to students and help student understand the lesson easily. Teacher are very important in our society. They not only teach student to be
smart, but still help student develop themselves. Learn with teacher are much better than learning
online. One of the reasons is it easier to ask questions from the teacher so that make students remember better than searching online such as Google or Wikipedia. The information that students
get from the internet may not reliably

Experiences from School

Most parents think that they want their child to get into the school because knowledge education but it's actually wrong because student still get experiences from school too. Children who
get into school can learn how to get in society and they can learn new things from school. The important thing that students will get from school is experiencing. The experience is invaluable. According to www.foster.washington.edu explained the benefit of experience which is students can
improve themselves and solve the obstacle by their own. For example, if a student has to do the
project, which very difficult then they turned in their work the result is students getting f grade so,
they have to learn from mistake to improve themselves to be better. This also can relate to the student's future. If students face the problem before the next time that they have to fade it, they can
solve it easily than before because they have an experience of it
Conclusion

The purpose of this report was to explain why the school is still important in 21st century.

This research report concluded that school is important for student in this period. I discovered that
schools do not only provide knowledge but they also give social opportunity and responsibility to
students. This research report recommends further study on online school in 21st century.
