2. Briefly describe the similarities and the differences of the star schema and a
snowflake schema and then analyze their advantages and disadvantages ?
3. Write the syntax for all the data mining primitives.
4. What is concept description? Explain what are the differences between concept
description in large data bases and OLAP.
5. Explain the apriori algorithm with an example.
6. What is prediction? Discuss about Bayesian classification.
7. What is a cluster? Briefly describe the categories of clustering techniques.
8. a. What is text mining? Describe about basic measures for text retrieval.
b. Briefly describe web usage mining.
