It has a container which holds
can to be crushed, a press which is press against holder and crushes the CAN. The press is operated by hand. The can hold multiple CANS and once one CAN is crushed other CAN fits into holder. Typical container is designed to hold upto 40 CANS. A Similar device Can crushing was patent in US5218902 A by Wayne J. Triola published in June/15/1993. Materials: We will be using different materials for different components. The container base is made of aluminum as it is light weight and good strength. The press, holder and handle is made of steel. The door of container is made of plastic as it does not carry much load and should be light weight and low cost. Advantages
