o Research assistant with experience in numerous research projects relating to animal molecular genetics.
o Completed a directed study in this lab titled, Genomic testing of female Holsteins: a resource for selection
and improvement.
Employment with North Palouse Veterinary Clinic (2011 present)
o Veterinary Technician with experience in assisting the veterinarian in appointments and surgeries;
experience running blood work, fecal samples, urinalysis, x-ray processing, caring for hospitalized animals,
farm calls, conversing with owners, scrubbing in and assisting with surgery, and other miscellaneous tasks.
o Experience with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, llamas, ferrets, sheep, and cows.

Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine (September 2013 present)
o Shadowing with the Comparative Theriogenology Team that includes two residents, Dr. Campbell and Dr.
Cicarelli, under Dr. Tibary (faculty). Experience with reproductive research and handling of cattle, horses,
and alpacas.
Weiser Veterinary Clinic (July 8 August 16, 2013)
o Shadowed four veterinarians and experienced a large rural practice environment. Emphasis in large animal
(bovine and equine) medicine and surgery. Aided in numerous emergency calls; scrubbed in and assisted
with surgery.
Southern Great Plains Dairy Consortium Teaching (May 13 June 21, 2013)
o A six week program covering a variety of subjects, including reproduction, genetics, mastitis, and nutrition
in dairy cattle with professors and experts from around the United States. Components included practical
experience at dairies, labs, and lectures in classrooms. Located in Clovis, New Mexico.
North Palouse Veterinary Clinic (June-August 2011 and 2012)
o Shadowed four veterinarians and assisted with appointments, surgery, and farm calls. Experienced a small
rural practice veterinary clinic.
