Creative Writing and Law are two different forms. Creative Writing is a form
of artistic expression which creates on the imagination to convey meaning
through the use of imagery, narrative, and drama and the genre that
includes poetry, fiction, scripts, screenplays, and creative non-fiction. Law,
on the other hand, is the system of rules that a particular country or
community recognizes as regulating the actions of its members and may
enforce by the imposition of penalties.

Nowadays, law practitioners are called upon for creative and thoughtful
leadership on complex social and political issues. Considering such,
creative writing may be used in the study of law because it would help these
practitioners develop research and analytical skills in order to explore
these issues using fiction and creative non-fiction writing.
