RESUMEN
El presente trabajo tuvo por objetivo formular un modelo dinmico sistmico que permita identificar y jerarquizar
los factores crticos que generan la contaminacin en el tratamiento de los residuos slidos en la zona
metropolitana de Huancayo, desde su generacin hasta su disposicin final, identificando los factores ms
crticos a fin de proponer un modelo simulado que permite medir y percibir un adecuado manejo de estos
desechos en los prximos aos. Este anlisis se enfocar fundamentalmente desde el ao 2000 al ao 2010
para luego proponer su comportamiento modelado en los prximos 10 aos.
El mtodo usado en el estudio consisti en la recoleccin de datos estadsticos del Instituto Nacional de
Estadstica e Informtica (INEI), tales como los referidos a poblacin por reas y por distritos metropolitanos.
Para la caracterizacin de la poblacin se utiliz los criterios de la Encuesta de ENAHO (Encuesta Nacional de
Hogares), ejecutada por el INEI, que est debidamente validado.
La investigacin con el modelamiento del sistema permiti identificar los factores crticos que generan problemas
en el tratamiento de los residuos slidos en la zona metropolitana de Huancayo, siendo estos la falta de
segregacin en la fuente que es a consecuencia de la falta de sensibilizacin de sus pobladores adems de un
adecuado financiamiento.

SYSTEMIC MODELING TO IDENTIFY FACTORS CRITICAL IN THE TREATMENT OF SOLID WASTE
FROM THE DISTRICT OF HUANCAYO
ABSTRACT
This work was aimed at formulating a systemic dynamic model that allows to identify and prioritize the critical
factors causing pollution in the treatment of solid waste in the metropolitan area of Huancayo, from its generation
to its final disposal, identifying the most critical factors in order to propose a simulated model that allows to
measure and perceive a proper management of these wastes in the coming years.This analysis will mainly focus
since the year 2000 to the year 2010 to then propose its behavior modeled in the next 10 years.
The method used in the study consisted of the collection of statistical data from the National Institute of statistics
and Informatics (INEI), such as those related to population areas and metropolitan districts. NAHO (national
household survey) survey criteria, was used for the characterization of the population carried out by INEI, which is
properly validated.
Research on the modeling of the system allowed to identify the critical factors causing problems in the treatment
of solid waste in the metropolitan area of Huancayo, these being the lack of segregation in the source which is a
result of the lack of awareness of its people in addition to adequate financing.
