Results Based Accountability (RBA) Training


July 27-28, 2015
Outcomes:
As a result of the workshops, participants will:
(Day 1)

Identify success factors for large-scale, place-based change (collective impact) initiatives
Have an broad knowledge of Results Based Accountability methodology in helping community members and partner
organizations to:
o Agree quality of life outcomes/results and related progress indicators
o Align community strategies and programs to improve these agreed indicators
o Develop or refine robust performance measures for partner programs
o Collect, analyze, act and report on data about progress on both community indicators and individual program
performance
Identify further learning and resource needs and brainstorm next steps

(Day 2)

Identify the opportunities and challenges in developing a shared measurement system for FGLN partners
Be able to describe the key features of the Results Scorecard in supporting FGLN partners to make progress on family literacy
and youth literacy
Produce a Results Scorecard with results, indicators, aligned programs and related performance measures
Identify/agree data sources for family literacy and youth literacy in Flint and Genesee
Agree initial actions to engage partners in using the Scorecard to plan, share and track progress in improving family literacy and
youth literacy
