Course Description: The United States History from Post-Reconstruction to
Present
framework requires students to examine the major turning points in American
history from the period following Reconstruction throughout the Twentieth
Century and entering into the new millennium.
We will be using several different resources for class. Our text book is The
Americans: Reconstruction to the 21st Century. I also have a course website
that you should check regularly for updates. Lastly, we will be using Canvas
as an online course management system for announcements, class
information and assignments. I will also send out information through
Remind, a service that allows me to send reminder texts to parents and
students about class related information.
