    This UNT faculty-led study abroad program in Romania taught students about human trafficking both domestically and internationally. Students gained a better understanding of modern slavery by learning about its historic, legal, economic, political and social contexts. They conducted anti-human trafficking workshops, met with local organizations involved in anti-trafficking efforts, and worked directly with at-risk youth in Romanian communities.
