    Invasion Of Britain

    Julius Caesar invaded Britain 3 times and only 1 was
    succsessful,but the second wasn't a total failure though, because he
    installed a king into Britain called Mandubracius.
    The last war was won by the romans and there leader, Emperor
    Claudius. All Caesar really wanted was fame, glory and all the
    power he could get, meaning he would do anything to get that,
    thats why he invaded Britain.
    There were many things he wanted from Britain that he thought
    we had, which we most likely did, and came for them.Things like:
    =Wool
    =Meat -e.g pork, lamb, veneson, beef e.c.t=Dairy -milk, cheese, cream and a few more
    =Leather (Armor, weapons)
    =Wood
    The date for the 1st invasion was August, 55BC. And the 2nd
    was the following summer in 54BC, and the last invasion was
    nearly 100 years later at 43AD.
