Describe teachers' current access to instructional technology and current use of

digital tools.
Question & Answer 1
How does technology assist teachers and principals with their administrative
tasks, attendance and grading?
Technology makes much easier to communicate between administration and
staff members. More often administration committee sends useful information
about education, sharing by email all school announcements. Teachers are
expected to check their e-mail several times a day. Front office members by
using laptops are taking attendance and teachers putting grades online using
laptop.

Question & Answer 2

How is technology currently being used by teachers and administrators to
promote effective classroom instruction and school management?
In our school teachers are using their laptops to present presentation, using
projectors to show from teachers laptop educational videos. Math teachers are
using mimio pads while monitoring students around the class teacher can show
on the board how to solve the problem by using mimio pads. Teachers and
administrations can send their work to print wirelessly to teachers lounge
printers.

Describe students' current access to instructional technology and current use of

digital tools. Include a description about the LEA policy, practices, and/or
replacement policy that ensures equitable technology access for all students.
Question & Answer 1
How is technology being used by students in the library media center and labs?
Each class has a folder on the server, and each class folder includes individual
folders for students. Any work done in the lab or in the classroom can be saved
to those folders, which makes it easy for students to access their work from most
places in the school. Teachers can download templates, clip art, hotlists, and so
on, for easy and safe access by students. Currently our school did not have any
technology items in library and it was hard for students to keep track of their
books and taking the AR tests. However we planned for upcoming year to put at
least 6 new PC to library.
Question & Answer 2
How is technology used to extend the school day for students and to make
learning resources available during after-school hours?
Right after school we had computer lab club, students who does not have
computer at home were doing their homework and other assignments in
computer lab, which usually students stay till 4:30 in computer lab.
Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, for using
technology to improve teaching and learning. Describe how these goals align to
the LEA's curricular goals that are supported by other plans. Describe how the
LEA's budget (LCAP) supports these goals, and whether future funding
proposals or partnerships may be needed for successful implementation.
Question & Answer 1
How will technology be used to create more powerful learning experiences to
improve student academic achievement?
Students are using computer labs during and after school time to take AR tests
and also teachers are using computer labs for researches. Teachers have made

the most improvement in their class by using of computer labs for Internet
access. They bring in students to look up information for class and to create
individual presentations. Here again, however, teachers run into a problem of
scheduling the computer class. There are also Ipads which teachers
demonstrating during class periods.
Question & Answer 2
How will technology be used to help students demonstrate college and career
readiness, improve CAASPP scores, and meet achievement targets?
Seniors are using laptop and computer to apply for colleges and universities,
they are researching all available scholarships for colleges. Other high schoolers
are searching for subject local competitions.
Question & Answer 3
What funding sources, including federal, state, or local programs are available to
support the plan?
First of all our school has economically disadvantages because of that school
receives federal fund called Title-1 fund. Secondly our school district won a
Race To the Top fund which is around thirty million dollars divided to all district
schools and receives support them. Finally we support our technology plan with
school budget, this year we already spent forty thousand dollars to renew our
computer labs and library computers.
Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, to address
Internet Safety and the appropriate and ethical use of technology in the
classroom.
Question & Answer 1
How are students using online communication technologies, including but not
limited to social networking and instant messaging?
Students are using school email accounts to communicate between staff
members and also automated alarm email programs.
Question & Answer 2
What materials will be used to instruct students about Internet safety, including
how to use technologies to protect themselves and their privacy online?
Before and each time beginning of the year technology teachers are going over
the classroom online rules, example: not to share your personal information
online, not to give thee address or any credit card information, no responding to
unknown email senders. Internet users must respect intellectual property rights and
laws, including those for local and remote network locations. This includes respect for
the privacy of confidential, restricted and personal data, and respect for copyrights
and licenses on the use of or access to, information or programs.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMPONENT

The Plan must have a professional development strategy to ensure that staff

understands how to use these new technologies to improve education services

(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Summary of the teachers' and administrators' current technology proficiency and

integration skills and needs for professional development.
Question & Answer 1
Do teachers have the classroom management strategies to work with the amount
of technology actually available in the classrooms?
Yes, teachers have classroom management strategies like first every 10 minute
of the class teachers are assigning warm-up while students do their work
teachers are taking an attendance.
Question & Answer 2
Are administrators able to support teachers with the integration of technology into
daily curriculum?
Teachers in our school, HSE Austin are well supported in their technology needs
by administration office. On staff meeting principal and IT personal goes over the
technology in the class, for example how to reconnect to internet in case of lost,
how to use mimio pads, projector, tablets, and other. Also our school assigned for
each staff members with laptops and Ipads, to make sure teachers assign
assignments to students and take an attendance during class periods. Every
other staff meetings administration do some sort of training about technology.
Describe goals and an implementation plan, with annual activities, for providing
professional development opportunities based on your LEA needs assessment
data and the Curriculum Component of the plan.
Question & Answer 1
What professional learning will be available so teachers and administrators can
effectively use technology to assist with student assessment?
Every semester there will be district wide technology professional development
day (PD) to make sure teachers are using technology during class times. And
also on PD day they show teachers new technology techniques.
Question & Answer 2

INFRASTRUCTURE, HARDWARE, TECHNICAL SUPPORT, SOFTWARE, AND

ASSET MANAGEMENT COMPONENT CRITERIA
The Plan must include an assessment of the telecommunication services,
hardware, software, asset management, and other services that will be needed to
improve education services.
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Describe the existing hardware, Internet access, electronic learning resources,

technical support, and asset management already in the LEA that will be used to
support the Curriculum and Professional Development Components of the plan.
Question & Answer 1
What is the current level of technical support? Consider factors such as technical
support personnel to computers, support response time, or formal and informal
technical support.
Starting from 2012 our district created Information Technology support team for
all district schools, the IT office located at central office. The Information
Technology department consists of only 1 employee. Which is not sufficient for all
five district schools. However most of the local schools had their own IT personal.
If any staff members had technical problems, first response came from local IT, if
he could not solve the problem then district IT person was solving the problem.
Question & Answer 2
How is device inventory documented, including, but not limited to, tracking device
make, model, serial number, and location of use?
Local district Information Technology personal came out with the decision that all
local schools should have inventory on local school database or google drive
spreadsheet shared with Technology Committee. Our school using local
database to keep inventory all technology devices recording by serial numbers
and to whom it is assigned to.
Describe the technology hardware, electronic learning resources, networking and
telecommunications infrastructure, physical plant modifications, technical
support, and asset management needed by the LEA's teachers, students, and
administrators to support the activities in the Curriculum and Professional
Development components of the plan.

electronic resources reside secure or do they require modification to become
secure?
Yes, all technology and inventory rooms are secure, the door are always locked
only local principal and IT managers can access the room.
MONITORING AND EVALUATION COMPONENT
The plan must include an evaluation process that enables the school to monitor
progress toward the specific goals and make mid-course corrections in response
to new developments and opportunities as they arise.
(Answer at least 2 questions for each subsection below)

Describe the process for evaluating the plan's overall progress and impact on
teaching and learning.
Question & Answer 1
How will the LEA know whether implementation of this plan has made a positive
impact on classroom, library, and school and LEA management?
LEA should have meeting with technology committee to make sure all technology
updates have positive impact. Committee should identify if teaching and learning
is enhanced through the use of technology, all learners are engaged in the
teaching and learning process. Student performance on standardized
assessments and classroom assessments improves.
Question & Answer 2
Who will participate in the monitoring and evaluation process?
To evaluate classroom performance on technology items school principal and

administration members evaluate the classroom, if they see anything needs to be

addressed they have meeting with teacher and IT personal.
Question & Answer 3
Describe how stakeholders participated in determining the criteria used to
measure success.
All stakeholders measure by looking the standardized assessment test results.
So it is very important to school to get better score results.

a description of the process and frequency of communicating evaluation results
to tech plan stakeholders.

Question & Answer 1

How will technology success stories be documented and publicized?
Each school district has local databases and all good performances are recorded
on the school database and administration office will publish the news on school
website and also if it is really big performance they send the information to district
office to publish the news on local newspapers.

Question & Answer 2

How will teachers, parents, and other stakeholders provide suggestions and
opinions in the evaluation process?
The school principal should have meeting often with stakeholders to get their
opinions and suggestion to improve education. It is very important that when the
members of an organization or community feel that their ideas and opinions are
being heard, and when they are given the opportunity to participate authentically
in a planning or improvement process, they will feel more invested in the work
and in the achievement of its goals, which will therefore increase the likelihood of
success in education.
