    Partial absence of the pericardium was seen on imaging. A chest x-ray showed dilation of the left atrial appendage due to the pericardium being partially absent. A CT scan further demonstrated dilation of the left atrium and left atrial appendage between certain frames, confirming the partial absence of the pericardium.
