I am trying to catch these students as I delegate them
out to your homerooms. I will CC Linda when I give you
one so that she is aware and you can coordinate with her
to be at the meeting. Remember you also need to have
her at regular ARs of HI/VI students as you have them
during the year.
OI, MID-let me know ASAP if docs come in and you have
one of these students
Verifying SE Hours-this is one of your tasks for the
caseload workbook. Some of you were attempting it and
noticed you couldnt correct the incorrect times. Those
times are related to the LAST FTE count, so they may
not represent the students most recent IEP. You do not
have to go in and change anything. This is just something
you will verify when classes begin. I sent an email last
week that explains all of the verify columns a little
more explicitly so you can go back to it for more references.
Redeterminations
Please look over your caseloads. All returning students that are
due before Dec. SHOULD already have a redeterm startedcheck to be sure. Go ahead and submit names, via the trackerwhose redeterms have not been started and are due by the end
of January.
IEP Sign up/Calendar Invites:
If you sign up for meetings, please go in and make sure to send
an invite to the team.
IEP Drafts:
Remember to get all drafts to me 10 days in advance. I know it
wasnt possible last week for some of this weeks meetings, but
should be moving forward.

Aug 3-send first round of emails sent for PCPs and PCEs
Aug 10-FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Once you upload your picture to that site, scroll down and grab the
link from that top box. Then, go to Lync. Click on Tools, then Options, then My Picture. Theres a place to put a link. Paste that link
there, click OK, and youre set!
Parental Consent to Place/Evaluate PCP/PCE:
On August 3rd, teachers need to send the email below to all students on their caseload that they are missing a consent to eval or
consent to place for. Please make sure you have looked both in the
attachments, and also in the evaluation section of Spedtrack. In
some cases, if the student had eligibility or redeterm done at GCA,
that consent may be in the other forms within that tab. Make sure
they are checking both places. We dont want to email families that
actually filled these out last year J (Its fine if you want to alter the
email slightlythere may be situations where they are able to determine that its not the previous school that didnt send docsex:
We held an eligibility last year and the CLM just didnt get the consent to place) The email is just a good template to use. (Email coming)
2. Teachers will then need to go into the attached documents , fill
out required items that have to be filled in (I tried to highlight them
all on due process), and then check the exact box for the file or files
that are missing. On the consent for placement and evaluation, you
need to make sure to fill those in as well.
3. After you fill out the documents, they need to password protect
the documents, attach the 2 or 3 documents to the email and send
Aug 3rd.
4. If the parents sign, scan, and return, you just need to pdf the consent for placement and consent to evaluate, and attach those to IC.
5. If they email back giving the teachers permission to virtually
sign the document, the teachers will need to pdf the email that actually grants permission to sign the documents, sign the documents
virtually, and date them with the date that the email came back
granting permission. Both the email and the signed documents need
to be pdfd and attached to IC. Please name the email First Name
Last Initial Email Consent to virtually sign missing documents
6. This process is only for returning students. You should get these
documents for newbies in their intake meetings.
