SCHOOL BOARD VACANCY NOTICE

Midland Community Unit School District #7 Board of Education is accepting applications from school
district residents who are interested in applying for a recently vacated seat on the Midland Board. Board
members will make an appointment to fill the vacancy by majority vote. The appointee will serve in the
position until April 2017, when the seat will be up for election. To be eligible for consideration, a person
must: -- be at least 18 years old; -- be a U.S. citizen; -- be a registered voter; and -- be a District #7
resident at least one year prior to appointment. Any eligible resident within the School District who is
interested in being considered for the position must submit a letter of interest and resume. All
information must be received no later than 4:00 PM on August 10, 2015. Submittals and questions
