PARISH BULLETIN
July 19th, 2015
24H-ADORATION AT ST. MARY'S - WILL YOU BE ONE OF THE SEVENTY-TWO?
Beginning September 4th 2015, the Saint John Paul II Pastoral Unit will provide parishioners with the opportunity to
adore Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament for 24 hours. Eucharistic Adoration will be held at Saint Marys Parish (125
Grove, corner Miller in Greenfield Park) on the First Friday of every month following the 9:30 am mass until 10:00 am
on Saturday. But for this to happen, we need you. Three parishioners per hour are needed to dedicate their time to
petitionary and intercessory prayer before the Blessed Sacrament (since Our Lord cannot be left unattended at any
time). Are you willing to be one of the 72? If so, please sign the Holy Hour Choice sheet you'll find in your parish.
(We might contact you during the summer to propose some changes in the schedule, to make sure there are enough
adorers for each hour.) Any questions? Parishioners from St. Mary's, Holy Cross, St. Clare, St. Gabriel's can contact
Jocelyne Naraine at 450-923-3134. Parishioners from Good Shepherd, St. Augustine, St. Francis, St. Raymond's can
contact Lisa Cerulli at 514-583-9884 or lisacerulli@hotmail.com.

FAITH EDUCATION: REGISTRATION
Faith education is a life long endeavour. It is especially important and provides a foundation when there is a desire to
prepare for and celebrate the Sacraments. In order to ensure a meaningful faith experience, we offer a number of
programs for various age groups: Be My Disciples for children between the ages of 8 and 10 is a family program which
focuses on the call to discipleship; Witnesses of the Covenant encourages young people of 11 years and older to come
together to question and discuss elements of our faith; RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is tailor made to
encourage adults in their faith journeyand for our youngest, Mini-Ministry focuses on encouraging that first spark.
Registration is now taking place for all of these programs. Please call (450) 676-7577 or (450) 671-0416 or email:
faithfirst@live.ca Please note our programs begin at the beginning of September. Registration with payment
will be accepted until September 8, 2015.
ECUMENCIAL REFUGEE PROJECT UP-DATE & REQUEST FOR PRAYERS
Our application as been approved by Qubec & forwarded to Immigration Canada; if all goes well, our family may be

their arrival, and also for the millions of other refugees desperate to find welcoming acceptance, and most importantly
for PEACE in the world. May the Holy Spirit flood the planet with a new vision of life in loving harmony with Mother
Earth and with all God's children.
