Process plan is finalising.


Alteration in VTL to Machine the job.
Develop of fixture for machining.
Identification and finalisation of attachment for VTL.
Selection and finalisation of special tools for machining and drilling.
Finalisation of inspection gauges and received gauge.
Special measuring instrument if any for the above job.

Centreline marking of forging and both axis.


Marking of 29mm from the centreline of the taper end and punching.
Milling of 70mm thickness as per marking for maintaining the thickness.
Pre drilling of both flanges of are location in fixture.
Machining of non sling side width 5mm stock to the finish dimension
without the grove with 5mm stock.
6. Machining of gear side laving 5mm stock except the case ordering area.
7. Case ordering to be done up to 1.2 to 1.5 mm depth. To 50 to 55 HRC.
8. Grinding to the require dimension of the case ordering.
9. Finishing all the areas, removing 5mm stock.
10.Drilling in taping using drill jig.
11.Inspection and Packing as per drawing.
2. Alteration in VTL to Machine the job.

Mounting a 50mm plate, and extending the centre swing diameter


1400mm.
2. Purchase of grinding and milling attachment for mounting in the tool post.
3. Rising of jaws with to accommodate turning of both sides.
3. Develop of fixture for machining
1. Round plate with 25mm thickness, with busses for 500mm PCD from
centreline with removable locating pins hardened sizes both for pre
machining and final machining.
2. Three jar self centring chuck with removable soft jaws, size 14 with
proper location.
3. Design and manufacturing of drill jigs for both sides.
4. Identification and finalisation of attachment for VTL.
1. Grinding attachment.
2. Milling attachment with variable speed for drilling, Taping, Reaming,
Boring, with Suitable taper in bore.

5. Selection and finalisation of special tools for machining and drilling.

Drills Up to 60mm range.


Reamers up to 60mm.
M16 tap, M10tap, and 14, 8.5 drill.
Grooving tools both left and right for grooving and the radius as per
drawing.

Full assembly receiver gauges for inspection.
