German Passport and Visa

Information
Visas and Passports
Passports and/or passport replacing documents must be valid
for the period of intended stay.
Nationals of Australia as well as New Zealand, Canada, and USA
do not require a visa for Germany but should note the following
regarding the Schengen Area.

The Schengen Agreement

Germany is part of the Schengen Area, a borderless region in
Europe in which internal border controls have been removed.
Because entry into one Schengen country allows unrestricted
access to all others, guests intending to visit any country in the
Schengen Area, should be aware of travel restrictions imposed
by other Schengen states.
Within the Schengen Area, nationals of Australia, New Zealand,
Canada and USA, do not require a visa for a stay of ninety days,
in any six month period.
