Haba una vez una adorable nia que era
amada por todo aquel que le miraba, pero
sobre todo por su abuela, y no haba nada que
ella no le habra dado a la nia. Una vez, ella
le dio una pequea casaca de terciopelo rojo,
que le quedaba tan bien que ella no vesta otra
prenda. As fue que siempre le decan
Caperucita Roja.

Once upon a time there was a dear little girl

who was loved by everyone who looked at her,
but most of all by her grandmother, and there
was nothing that she would not have given to
the child. Once she gave her a little cap of red
velvet, which suited her so well that she would
never wear anything else. So she was always
called Little Red Riding Hood.

Un da su madre le dijo, " Ven, Caperucita

Roja, aqu hay un trozo de torta y una botella
de vino. Llvalas a tu abuela, ella est enferma
y dbil, y le harn bien. Emprende tu viaje
antes que haga calor, y cuando vayas, camina
bien y tranquila y no te apartes del sendero, o
puedes caerte y romper la botella, y entonces
tu abuela no tendr nada. Y cuando entres a su
cuarto, no te olvides de decir, buenos das, y
no curiosees en cada rincn antes de hacerlo."
"Tendr especial cuidado", dijo Caperucita
Roja a su madre, y se fue.

One day her mother said to her, "Come, Little

Red Riding Hood, here is a piece of cake and a
bottle of wine. Take them to your
grandmother, she is ill and weak, and they will
do her good. Set out before it gets hot, and
when you are going, walk nicely and quietly
and do not run off the path, or you may fall
and break the bottle, and then your
grandmother will get nothing. And when you
go into her room, don't forget to say, goodmorning, and don't peep into every corner
before you do it." I will take great care, said
Little Red Riding Hood to her mother, and left.

La abuela viva hacia el bosque, a media legua

de la aldea, y apenas Caperucita Roja entr en
el bosque, un lobo la encontr en el camino.
Caperucita Roja desconoca qu criatura
perversa era l, y no le tuvo miedo

The grandmother lived out in the wood, half a

league from the village, and just as Little Red
Riding Hood entered the wood, a wolf met her.
Little Red Riding Hood did not know what a
wicked creature he was, and was not at all
afraid of him

In English and Spanish the translations cannot be on literal because the adverbs and the
adjectives go in different positions. Also, some words have to be added or deleted so the
sentence and the message can make sentence. The first sentence we can see an example of a
noun and an adverb. In Spanish is Nia adorable in Spanish is dear little girl, In Spanish the
adjective little does not have to be written down because in the noun nia is already
included.
