The Myanmar Department of Meteorology and

Hydrology provides near-daily updates on the
actual and forecasted water level in the major
rivers of Myanmar. The forecasted levels for 4
August show a mixed picture. In the far north,
water levels remain high, but are lower in much
of the central plains. In the heavily populated
areas of Bago, Ayeyarwaddy, and Yangon,
water levels vary.
