Closing Reflection

Let us conclude todays prayer

Closing Prayer

service with words from Pope

Father,
I have knowledge, so will You show
me now,
How to use it wisely and find a way
somehow
To make the world I live in a little
better place,
And make life with its problems a
little bit easier to face.
Grant me faith and courage and put
purpose in my days,
And show me how to serve Thee in
effective ways.
So my education, my knowledge and
my skill
May find their true fulfillment as I
learn to do Thy will.
And may I ever be aware in everything I do,
That knowledge comes from learning, and wisdom comes from You.

Francis on World Youth Day in

Rio, 2013.
Dear young friends:
If we want it to have real
meaning and fulfilment, as you
want and as you deserve, I say to
each one of you, 'Put on faith',
and your life will take on a new
flavour, it will have a compass to
show you the way; 'put on hope'
and every one of your days will
be enlightened and your horizon
will no longer be dark, but
luminous; 'put on love', and your
life will be like a house built on
rock, your journey will be joyful,
because you will find many
friends to journey with you.
Jesus is the one who brings God
to us and us to God.
'Put on Christ!' in your life, and
you will find a friend in whom
you can always trust; 'put on
Christ' and you will see the wings
of hope spreading and letting you
journey with joy towards the
future; 'put on Christ' and your
life will be full of his love; it will
be a fruitful life.
Do not be afraid to ask God's

3 My child, do not forget my teaching,
but let your heart keep my commandments;

and abundant welfare they will give you.
3 Do not let loyalty and faithfulness forsake
you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
