DC International Program

English Proficiency Standards for Admission*

Each applicants English proficiency is evaluated with the TOEFL, TOEFL Jr.**, SLEP, or iTEP
SLATE test scores to determine admission to the DC International Program. A combination of
test scores, application essays, and a Skype interview will be used to determine the admission
decision. Below is a general guideline for test scores. In order to succeed in the DC
International Programs rigorous academic curriculum, we have found that students within the
Generally Acceptable range do very well at our school.
