Stray & Wild Animals : means any animals not under direct control by a
person or not prevented from roaming.
Types of stray & Wild Animals:
a)free-roaming animals not under direct control or restriction at a particular
time;
b)free-roaming animals with no owner;
c)domestic animals that has reverted to the wild state and is no longer directly
dependent upon humans.

millions of animals each year.

How do you get rabies?

People and animals can only get rabies if they are
bitten or scratched by an animal that already has
rabies. Their saliva carries the rabies virus, even if
the animal is dead.
