10 minutes of reading per night (minimum)
5 minutes of Chinese characters practice per night
5 minutes Maths numeracy skills practice per night
Year 2 Weebly will have some optional home learning

exercises (children are not meant to turn these


assignments into their teachers)
Daily reading is recommended to include an element of
comprehension for developing readers (retelling, book
talk questions, or types of reading - see packet)
