There is no specific data about what percent of the long-term supporters would withdraw their support if

program content was not restored. 'Many' is a vague word that can only indicate that the new program
contents have been an issue for some of the listeners. No information is provided if there has been an
enhancement in the listener base as it is very logical that latino and world music would draw listeners
from respective socio-ethnnic background. It is possible that the number of new listener outplays that of
complaints and the radio station gains in net support instead of losing such which leaves the conclusion of
the business manager a wrong one.

It was not mentioned what was the reactions put forth by other media quarters except for that particular
newspaper. May be the editor had some personal interest in villifying the radio station and took the
advantage of raising a campaign against the radio station using the content and schedule change as a
cause. Therefore we need to be sure about the intention of the local newspaper by specifically learning if
there remains any past issue of the newspaper with the radio.

The term un-American bias is also a not so specific notion that a complaint regarding this should make
the management take such bold action as to change programming. In the conclusion of the memorandum
the manager claims that if running pragram content and scheduling went on, the radio might lose more
listeners but no evidence shows whether the complaints still kept on coming or ceased indicating that the
pilferage of few of the old listeners is over and there is no such propensity among the remaining listeners
to withdraw support.
