Coach Loya:

Whats going on in the PE


Classroom these next 2 weeks?
The Students will review:
Attention Getters, PE Safety, General PE
Procedures, Classroom Management
Procedures

Coach Loya is back at JDE ready


for another amazing year in the
physical education classroom. Last
year was Coach Loyas first year at
JDE and he learned a lot about the
wonderful school! This year Coach
is looking to grow on the knowledge
gained to improve the PE
experience for the students. Under
Coach Loyas direction students will
be challenged physically, mentally,
and emotionally to grown within the
PE classroom. Get ready for an
amazing year in PE!!

The Students will learn:


Students will be introduced to circuit
training/skills stations. Students will be
introduced to transitioning on their own
and will learn the challenge by choice
concept. Students cover fleeing and
chasing activities.
Monday- Friday: (K-2) Review of PE rules and
Procedures, Attention Getters (signs and signals
to manage the classroom), fleeing and chasing
activities
(3-5) Will be introduced to circuit/ skill stations
Homework Due: Thursday 8/3/2015K-3rd Grade-will need to return their activity
quilts
4th and 5th- Grade- will need to return their
Facebook handouts

Coach Arvizuo:
Coach Arvizuo is the newest
Firebird within our JDE family.
This will be Coach Arvizuos first
year within the public school
system. Prior to JDE, Coach
Arvizuo, taught physical education
at UTEP and during his time within
the US Air Force. Coach Arvizuo is
ready to develop your students
skills within the physical education
lab through new and unique
physical fitness activities! Students
should be prepared to learn in a
number of new and innovative
activities. Go FIREBIRDS!!!!
