Today’s Message III.

Some do not embrace Jesus as their Savior and Lord,

Faith vs. Unbelief because they love other things more than God.
John 12:36-50
And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing:
go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in

embrace Jesus as our Savior and Lord. sorrowful, for he had great possessions. Mark 10:21-22

For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has
shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power
and his divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation
of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without
excuse. Romans 1:19-20

IV. Those who embrace Jesus as their Savior and Lord,

II. Some do not embrace Jesus as their Savior and Lord,
because they are spiritually blind.
In their case, the god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, to
keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is
the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4
are rescued from darkness and the coming wrath and
become children of God.
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right
to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of
the flesh nor the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13
