WEEK 1

What I learnt was that how to perform an icebreaker activity in a

classroom. Having discovered this techniques,i‘ve felt more confident and
relaxed to set up a good communication with students.In english lessons
we used to say our names and hometowns with turn and it was really
boring I also like the imaginary box that we put our ideas insideNow i’m
familiar with language exchange communities that will provide speaking. I
need to work on explaining myself in english because it’s terrible What
the last thing that stick in my is everybody’s saying something about the
lesson before leaving. It was some kind of review of the things we learnt.

What I had difficulty in figuring out was what we’ll learn in language
acquisition exactly, this lesson seems a bit academic to me

I suppose I need to focus more on speaking.While speaking english,I still

think some turkish sentences and try to translate them to english.The
other thing that i should work on is using the web more practically

I believe I may use icebreakers in my teaching career to warm up and

building a good class atmosphere because i don’t want my students to
check their watches constantly during my lessons Icebreakers are good
in theory; I hope they’ll be good also in practise...
