in the National Curricular Framework.

Coverage:

Knowledge of common theories in the subject.

Conceptual understanding of the relevant topics.

Pedagogical content knowledge (i.e. how to teach


the subject) covered to a smaller extent.

Analytical reasoning

Syllogisms and Venn diagrams

Common aspects of verbal and written communication


(in TPO 2015, this is only in English language).

Teaching-learning methods or pedagogy

Lesson planning and overall planning for instruction

Assessment

Classroom management

Understanding of child learning and development

Relevance of technology in education (basic level)

Collaboration and interpersonal relationships

Coverage:

Knowledge of common aspects of practice.

Situational responses showing practical


understanding of these aspects and ability to apply
in the classroom.
