Rice is the second most produced crop in the world. It is produced in many areas, but our site is the North
side of the West end of Odd Fellows Road in Crowley, Louisiana. The town slogan is Crowley, where life is rice
and easy.” On the North side of town, the building is between the town and Interstate 10. This allows easy
access for shipments to and from our agriculture center. The climate of Louisiana is mostly constant semi-
tropical. Rice is grown all around the area and the International Rice Festival is held here. SITE PLAN

Our concept of our design came from the rice plots. Plots cover the edges of the town and our center has its
