Beginning of the Semester Reflection

I was confused about which college I should go to when I was in high school.
What lead me to PCC is they had people in my high school as counselor and they
explained a lot to me. That is mostly the reason I choose to come to PCC. They
encouraged me to go to college for better education besides work or others. I am
really appreciated about this because it is the turning point of my life. I expected to
become a more valuable person than how I was. The first week of school is a lot
easier than the weeks that are coming . My schedule shows me that how many tests
are coming up for next week. I knew that I have to struggle for my academic career.

Who influenced me the most to made the decision to go to college is my father.

He stated that I might be the first college student of Yans family, which is he can be
proud of. My father told me that the reason we moved to America mostly is for me to
have a better educational atmosphere. To pay back to my father, I understand that I
need to study hard and get a degree in my college career.
I discovered that library is the most helpful resource to be base on it offers students a
quiet study zone. Also there are tutors at the library, which supplies a chance for us to
ask questions. I plan to use the library as a resource during my class gaps to avoiding
wasting time. If there is a chance, I would like to help students that are younger than
me in high school. To give them a chance to know more about college, it is my
pleasure to help them.
