What we are learning this week?

Math: Students will be finishing up the
chapter 1 in the next week or two.
Reading Street: Students will understand
that wilderness survival can mean:
Having the right tools
Starting fires and preparing and cooking
food
Staying safe from wild animals
Common Core Standards:
Theme and Setting
Inferring
Invitation: Focus/Ideas writing
Independent and Dependent Clauses
Vocabulary unknown words
Spelling - Digraphs
Social Studies: In class, we will be
learning the Southeastern states. We are
working on chapter five in our textbooks.
The students will be learning about early
settlers (French, Spanish, and English) and
how the colonies began.
Science: We will continue to study insects
this week.
