SUCCESS CRITERIA FOR DRAWING EYES.

Eyes shown are in proportion to face.


The eye must show the inner corner (where sleep collects) and
lower lid where eyelashes come from.
Eyelashes follow the eye and are an appropriate colour.
The iris must take up a large part of the eye with an eighth of
the iris hidden beneath the upper lid and the lower edge just
touching the lower lid.
The lower lid must be drawn softly and reflects the light so
appears brighter.
The pupil must be shaded dark and a tiny highlight included.
Asian eyes must hide part of the inner corner and be almond in
shape.
Eye brows grow smoothly in one direction and individual hairs
can be seen.
