ForallthePeerDrugEducatorsthisyear,workingwith
the North Somerset Year 6s has been amazing fun!
Not only has it boosted our confidence but we have
also learnt ourselves about the dangers of drugs and
alcohol as well as teaching a younger audience. All
the pupils enjoyed the sessions and were
exceptionally well behaved. I recommend training to

told all about it. At the Drugs Awareness Days we

in groups of our own choice and that made all of us
morecomfortablewithspeakingtotheYear6s.
AprilWhite
I thought the Drugs Awareness Days went amazingly
well. The students were really well mannered and
were up for anything. They already had some
knowledgeofthelessonssoweremorethanhappyto
learn more. They were also happy and understood
that we, as teachers, didnt know everything about
drugs, but could find the answers for them, so that
madeeverythingevenbetter.
ThelayoutoftheactivitieswasreallygoodandifIwas

activities chosen. The actual building, the Methodist
Church Hall, was an excellent venue for the day and
the staff were amazing. The lunch they provided was
