CONSTRUCTION METHOD

Mobilization of Manpower and necessary equipment for the named project.

Construction of temporary facilities and installation of Billboards and required signages. Removal
of existing drainage system and excavation works is done simultaneously . Rebars
for bottom slab are fabricated at project site installed followed by pouring of concrete class"A",
installation of formworks for barrel wall before pouring of concrete, Fabrication and installation
of rebars and formworks for fixed and movable cover follows.
Three (3) pieces of cylinder samples are prepared for each part structure .
Breaking and removal of existing concrete pavement using concrete breaker.
Removal of unsuitable materials and disposal of broken concrete follows. Spreading of Agg. SubBase Course, compaction by road roller, Aggregate base course is compacted by layer.
Prior to conducting Field Density Test, Moisture Density of Soil is performed using
aggregate base course materials used as base, Field Density Test is to determine the degree of
compaction the base materials has after thorough passing of road roller.
When the required compaction is attained, laying of formworks and installation of rebars for
construction joint, checking of elevation and base correction, pouring of concrete follows where
three (3) pieces of beam samples is to be prepared for every 75 cu.m. of concrete poured.
Removal of formworks , curing of concrete, cutting of concrete, application of
asphalt sealant is done before moving out.
