Welcome to the fall edition of our paper and if you're new to Springside, welcome to the
‘community. The kids are back in school, the gardens and crops have been harvested and once again
we have been blessed with abundance and are thankful for all that we have received. The clubs
and organizations are taking registrations and looking for new members so if you're looking for an
activity and want to get to know people in your community, we encourage one and all to join a club
and take advantage of the numerous activites that Springside has to offer. There is something for
everyone, regardless of age.
We hope that you enjoy this issue and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Fall!

All is abuzz at Springside School! Welcome back for the
2015-2016 school year!
We sincerely hope you had a safe and enjoyable summer.
School staff has undergone some significant changes
‘over the summer. There are several new people in our
building while others are teaching a new grade or
subject.
We have been busy preparing the school and classrooms
for an exciting year of learning and growth. Our building
is full of caring, knowledgeable and competent
professionals.
We have some wonderful events taking place over the
next few months at Springside School starting with the
School Open House on September 10" Thursday,
September 10 is the school open house. Itis from 5-7 PM.
‘We will be selling hamburgers as a WE DAY fundraiser.
Community groups are also encouraged to attend.
‘Whether you choose to gather registrations or just bring.
awareness to your club, it would be great to have you in
attendance. Contact the office if you would like to have
us set you up a table.
The Terry Fox Run will be held on September 30" at the
school. On October 16" we will be having an OSAC
performer out to the school for a fabulous performance
for the kids. OSACis an organization that brings Arts into
the schools. We would lke to thank the Springside Vesna
Ukrainian Dance for their generous sponsorship for this
event.
