I am writing today to express an interest in serving as a Turnover Administrator with Costco Wholesale. A position with Costco
Wholesale will provide invaluable experience and will allow me to bridge academic theories with practical applications. I am
particularly well-qualified with the technical skills and understanding of your market, I can step into the position and be immediately
productive.
My core values include personal integrity and a persistent work ethic. I am able to adapt to new situations, collaborate with coworkers, and to communicate clearly. As a student at WSU, rigorous course work, independent and collaborative projects, and
extracurricular activities have allowed me to develop, improve, and apply these skills for any objective that comes my way. The one
thing that sets me apart from others is my strong work ethic. This motivation allows me to be successful at whatever I choose to do. I
will stop at nothing until I achieve what I believe is near perfection, and I will always exceed my superiors requirements. For
example, at iSoftStone I was working to remotely enhance a voice recognition system. This allowed me to demonstrate project
management skills while working remotely, requiring initial installation and continuous operation and monitoring. By actively
marketing the project to participants me and one other project coordinator exceeded the daily participant quota.
While at Washington State University, I served on the finance board for the Club of the Management Information Systems and
Entrepreneurship. With a board of one other peer, we served our club in running meetings, coordinating events, and supervising the
well being of other members internally and externally. Serving in this position gave me invaluable experience in collaborating,
communicating, and decision-making in a professional atmosphere. I am now serving as the Vice President of Finance and closing up
my final semester at Washington Sate University.
Calling on the skills I have developed and these experiences, I look forward to discussing the position further in person, as I strongly
believe I can be an asset to Costco. My email is aj.willing@wsu.edu and a good number to reach me at is (360)-451-2399. I will
follow up with an email next week to schedule an interview at a time that is convenient for you.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Andrew J. Willing
