SPX >ClydeUnion Pumps Date: 29 May, 2015, To: Keppel FELS Limited 50 Gul Road, Singapore 629351 ‘Sub: Manufacturer A{fidavit of SPX-Clyde Union S&N Submersible Pump c/w cable splicing assembly. Dear Sir, S&N Pump is now a heritage brand under the SPX Flow Group. We have been supplying submersible pumps c/w cable splice for the past 50+ years in the offshore industries, We guarantee the quality of our products sold worldwide. Please refer to Attachment #1 that shows our track record in the Asia Pacific region since we began our operations in Singapore from year 2005 onwards. ‘There has been no known product failure specifically with regards to this cable splice supplied in reference to our track record list (Attachment #1) and with no down-time due to water ingress of the cable splice. The practice of a submersible pump set with cable splice for offshore seawater applications is not uncommon in the industry. These submersible pump sets come with cable splice are our standard manufacturer configuration. We have been supplying these to KFELS, SHI, DSME, DSIC, JSL, PPL etc globally and our product meets the quality and reliability that is required of in offshore submerged seawater applications. We attached the specific product’s technical data and information (Attachment #2) and confirm the water tightness, water absorption and corrosion resistant properties for it to function properly ‘when submerged into seawater for continuous period of time. ‘Thank you.
