Analysis.
How well have

The artist sections that you have completed are good but the
analysis is a little brief. You must use the word frames
provided and make sure to use photographic vocabulary when
analysing images. It is key that you think about all the different
parts that make up the image.

Force of nature

A sound section however you must pay attention to your

framing. One of the edits that you have put forward has a
persons legs in the frame. You must make sure that anything
thats detracts from the image are taken out. I would also like
you to get closer to the object environment that you are
photographing.

Applied force

Your best section I especially like the images with the bursting
balloon. To improve this work further you could try using a
flash and a faster shutter speed and placing the balloon
against a plain background.

Imposing architecture

The early shots taken around school lack any real impact.
Your choice of buildings is not good you need to be shooting
up using a worm eye view. The later images have much more
impact and the Ally Pally images works with the dark skies are
good. Make sure that your images are in focus the first of your
two edits is blurred this needs to be changed.

3 strands

The three strands are good your understanding of slinkachoo

is good. I would however like to see more of a narrative
throughout the work. When you look at his work there is
always a faraway shot followed by the close up make sure that
you have this consistently through your work.

You demonstrate a good understanding of the techniques

looked at in class but more refinement needs to take place
between your first and second responses.

Composition

On the whole your composition is good but I would like you to

get closer in some of your images. In particular the man vs
nature images. By getting closer you can highlight the struggle
between man and nature and its visual effect.

Location and subject matter

I would like you to push yourself to find more interesting

locations beyond school and your house. There are loads of
local places so try and be more adventurous in your choices.
