Course Duration: 3 days
Suitable candidates and pre requisitions: The Major Incident Medical
Management & Support (MIMMS) course is developed in conjunction with the
Advanced Life Support Group and offers students the knowledge and skills to
initially manage a major incident. It is specifically designed for medical
personnel who may need to manage any major emergency from ambulance
personnel, nurses, medical centres, offshore medics, MOD medics and
volunteer services.
This programme give a much greater understanding of incident management
and control & command.

Method of Tuition: Interactive theoretical tuition combined with extensive
practical sessions. Students will need to complete on online element prior to the
course and various MCQ and practical assessments during.
Course Objectives: Provide the student with the knowledge and skills begin the
